Volunteers
form the backbone of the Heartland Public Shooting Park. Whether it is
running one of the rifle or handgun ranges as a range safety officer,
scorekeeping at a sporting clays, trap, or skeet event, or just
helping load clay targets, volunteers continually put forth the
efforts that are required for us to succeed. If you would like to join
the ranks of these great men and women, please contact Bill Starkey at
the park. He will tell you about some of the many ways you can help
and some of the rewards you can reap. These rewards vary from reduced
shooting rates on the clay target ranges to completely free shooting
on the rifle and pistol ranges.
