Developed after years of extensive research and testing
White Flyer has added the White Flyer Bio to our product
line. Realizing the sensitivity of the issues facing gun
club and shooting ranges, it took over 15 years to develop a
biodegradable target that would meet the needs of the 21st
century. This biodegradable target shares all the superior
flight and breakability characteristics of the Standard
White Flyer target and is available in all orange, orange
dome and all white. The White Flyer Bio Targets are held to
the same strict performance requirements as our standard
targets and function in both hand set and automatic traps.
All White Flyer Bio Targets will biodegrade at least 95%
within two years, depending on rainfall or contact with
moisture into elements found in nature.
Accumulation of these elements in one specific area can
affect the soil pH.
Warning:
White Flyer © targets are biodegradable. Over time the
byproducts of the degradation can affect soil PH and
vegetation growth. In high volume target areas, adverse soil
impact can be avoided by raking up target residue on a
monthly basis or by adding agricultural limestone to the
soil if the PH decreases abnormally. Soil PH in high volume
target areas should be checked bi-annually. |

Biodegradable American Trap and Skeet Target
108 mm diameter. This target is used at American Skeet and
Trap.
Biodegradable
International Target
The size and weight of this target has been set by the
governing body (UIT/ISSF). They stipulate the target should
have a diameter of 110 mm and weigh 105 grams (plus or minus
tolerances). These targets are used in International and
Olympic competition.
Biodegradable Pheasant / Sporter Target
Essentially the same target as the Bio Standard Trap & Skeet
target, both 108 mm and same paint schemes. The difference
between the two is the Bio Pheasant/Sporter was designed
specifically for Sporting Clays shooting. Based on longer
throwing distances and faster speeds, the Bio Pheasant/Sporter
weighs a few grams more and is a bit denser in its
configuration than the Bio American Trap & Skeet target.
For Sporting Clays we recommend you use the Bio Pheasant/Sporter
version. Both the Bio Pheasant/Sporter and the Bio American
Trap & Skeet targets “smoke” extremely well.
Biodegradable Midi Target
Similar to the Bio Sporter/Pheasant target but with a
diameter of only 90 mm. Used primarily in Sporting Clays,
these Bio Midi targets are often used to create an optical
illusion, as they can appear to be farther away than they
really are and deceive the shooter into giving them more
lead than necessary. They are also faster than the standard
target in the early part of their flight.

specifications required by the National Skeet Shooting
Association (NSSA), the National Sporting Clays Association
(NSCA), the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) and the
International Shooters Union (ISU).
